10G BIDI SFP+ transceiver modules

Single-fiber bidirectional modules use BOSA component. BOSA is an optical component of the transmitter laser and the receiver detector. It has a built-in thin film filter. The transmitted signal light is directly coupled into the optical fiber through the filter, and the received signal light is Reflected to the detector end, a single optical fiber can send and receive signals at the same time. So to some extent it can save fiber resources.

The transceiver consists of transmitter and receiver:

The transmitter uses a multiple quantum well 1330nm/1270nm DFB laser and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC 60825.

The receiver uses an integrated 1270nm/1330nm detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC.
